A thoughtful approach to upholstery rooted in experience, craft, and care.

I’ve been reupholstering for over 15 years. I started by rebuilding and repairing my own furniture — learning how pieces were constructed and how careful restoration can change the way a piece feels in a home. That hands-on experience shaped the approach I use today: slow, attentive, and focused on the structure beneath the surface.

I believe older furniture deserves another life. The quality and materials were better, and when restored intentionally, these pieces last well beyond their original lifespan. Upholstery allows me to preserve that integrity while improving comfort, durability, and design.

Today, I help people in Toronto renew the pieces that matter to them — mid-century, modern, heirloom, or quietly sentimental — updating each one to suit how they live now. Reviving a piece so it continues forward is the most meaningful part of the work and is at the heart of my studio practice.
